Santiago Peak Repeater

The Santiago port of the Condor Connection is located atop Santiago Peak at 5687 ft. in the Santa Ana Mountains of the Cleveland National Forest.

The coverage is: Parts of Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Los Angeles Counties.

A dual antenna system is used. The transmit antenna is located at the 80 ft. level of the tower and the receive antenna is at the 100 ft. level. The ERP (Effective Radiated Power) is approximately 150 watts.

The operating frequency is 224.82 Rx., (-1.6) PL 156.7 Hz. The Callsign on the repeater is KJ6J.

The owner of the repeater is John Connell, KJ6J. John monitors the repeater on a regular basis, and will be glad to assist users find their way around the system.

The repeater control operators are: Duane Ehrlich, AD5E, Bruce Abbott, KE6DAH, and Les Allen, KM6SQ.

A Condor Connection Users Net is conducted each Monday evening at 7:00 PM, a great time for each of the users to thank John for the use of his port of the Condor Connection.
